But it's a toe up pattern - and I NEVER do toe up. But I'm just going to follow the directions, and hopefully all will work out.
Off to work. It's a cold rainy day here, and I have a cold. I would MUCH rather be staying in bed, sleeping late, and then knitting on my socks all day. Time to buy a lotto ticket.

I love this shipment and started mine right away as well. I am trying both the toe up and the two circs and we'll see how it goes!
no fair! i am still waiting.
I received mine yesterday, too, but I can't start them for a while :(
I've never done toe-up either, but I plan to give it a shot with these.
Did you stick w/the pattern's cast on instructions?
I'm thinking of switching as I can't see having consistent stitches w/the backward lopp cast on method.

I did Judy's cast on from knitty and love it. I don't know her but that woman is a genius. Try it, your stitches come out all even and full of goodness. You won't regret it.

You must have been so excited - that's a big start!
