Girls night out

Tonight was the first time in a while that I haven't been either too busy or felt too sick to go to knitting. And I got to give away my surprise! Here is Laurie modeling her new Birthday Ruffle Scarf:

I got the Scarf Style book for the express purpose of making this scarf. It is kind of a pain in the butt to knit (the reason it ruffles is short rows), and only looks cool when it is at least 70 inches long. I ran out of yarn at about 72 inches... but I think it looks neat. And I plan on making myself one later. Much later.
