One wall down...

3 to go! My vacation hasn't really been super restful yet. I took a 4 mile walk yesterday, and then went to yoga, and then got a pedicure... and then did some chores around the house. I have done a bit of knitting (almost done with Clue 3 on MS3, and to the heel on the second sock from hell) but most of the action has been on our porch.

Aaron and his father have been working on the first of 3 walls to be redone. We are changing our 3 season porch into a 'real' room - and therefore need to get better insulation into the walls, new windows, new floor, new ceiling.. it's a lot of work. And that is what Aaron planned on doing during his week off. They almost finished a whole side in one day!

This is the site that welcomed me home from yoga.... a huge hole in the side of the house!

They quickly got that under control:
Then put in the new window:
And this morning, finished up the siding:
It really looks awesome, and I'm pretty impressed that my husband can do stuff like this!

Knitting pictures tomorrow - off to do more errands!

Could we trade husbands, just for a few weeks? Mine could teach you Sumerian. (What do you mean, no one you know speaks Sumerian?)
