Last night, I got my hair trimmed. For the first time in about a year! I've been growing it long, and the time gave to 'give it some shape' as my friend Mary puts it. Mary is super stylish - so when she mentions I need a trim, I tend to listen.
I also got a pedicure. Honestly, what is better then getting those callouses toned down a bit and a professional foot rub? Not much.
Then, on the way home from all that pampering, I stopped at Quilter's Way and got my fabric for finishing up my Star Sampler quilt. I went a little crazy with the fabric choices (but that is par for the course with me). Then, I got home, and couldn't resist trying to finish up the last set of stars.
Problem is, both the ones I worked on last night, and the other 2 stars I made from a template came out WAY too small. So, tonight in class (which is at my house!) I'll fix those problems... and maybe I'll be able to finish this quilt soon!
I didn't get to go to knitting last night, just too much going on. I really do need to get going on the finishing work on Aaron's vest for Christmas.
