My Thanksgiving "Break"

So - I'm back at work after 4 days off. It was great fun! First, I went to my mother's for Thanksgiving. Bernie went with us, and we met my brother and his family there. It was a good time had by all. We then drove home with my nieces, who stayed with us for the next two nights! We had a blast. We went to the New England Aquarium, The Boston Children's Museum, To Build a Bear Workshop (where they made stuffed animals) and finally, on Saturday morning, we went to Fire Your Desire... where you paint your own pottery.

Lots of fun. Much spoiling of nieces occurred. I scared Aaron for a bit when I said that kids were a lot more work than I thought! But it was great fun also.

In knitting news, I steadily worked on the Boring Blueberry jacket. I'm now in the home stretch, doing the side band and collar finishing. It's knitting over 200 stitches, and I need 6 inches to be done. It'll take a while, but I'm close. Truth be told, not much knitting was done on Sunday, because I spent a lot of the day in bed, trying to sleep off my cold (which yes, I. STILL. HAVE. A. COLD). Don't get me started.
